The senior and nursing center stands for professional care and support with the aim of maintaining and promoting health and quality of life, as well as providing security and comfort.

Your tasks

In your 3-year training as a nursing specialist, you will learn how to care for and support elderly people in need. This includes taking on the following tasks:

Sensitive counseling of elderly people in difficult life situations, as well as recognition and analysis of the well-being of residents
Supporting elderly people with personal care, eating, and dressing
Therapeutic and medical care tasks, such as changing bandages, repositioning bedridden individuals, applying ointments, and administering medication according to doctor's orders, as well as health-promoting care measures
Thorough documentation of care measures and reports, as well as careful management of personal data

You will complete the academic part of your training at the Marienstift Education Center in Braunschweig.
