The Diakonisches Werk Coburg e.V. is seeking for the elderly and nursing home "Ernst-Faber-Haus" in Coburg immediately
Geriatric nursing assistant (m/f/d) or
Care assistant (m/f/d)
in part-time with 15 to 35 hours per week, initially limited to one year but with the prospect of a permanent employment afterwards.
Responsibilities:
- Performing basic and personal care
- Assisting in the creation of care plans
- Documentation
- Assisting with movement and mobility
- Food supply
- Maintaining contact with residents
- Psychosocial support
We expect:
- Enjoyment of working with elderly people, patience and flexibility
- Professional, personal and social competence
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays
- Experience in geriatric care or completion of a nursing assistant course is desirable
