WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A RETAIL ASSISTANT MANAGER:

As a Retail Assistant Manager at Habitat For Humanity, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing store operations, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of retail associates.

You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, merchandising products, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Collaborating with the store manager, you will assist in creating sales strategies and promotions to drive revenue.


Additionally, you will train and coach staff members, handle customer inquiries and concerns, and contribute to the overall success of the retail store.

WOULD YOU BE A GREAT RETAIL ASSISTANT MANAGER?:

To excel as a Retail Assistant Manager at Habitat For Humanity of Bucks County, essential skills and qualifications include a commitment to Habitat's mission, the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and a minimum of two years' experience in retail, resale, business management or hospitality.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a sharp eye for detail, are crucial for success in this role.

As a creative self-starter, you must demonstrate the capacity to work independently and collaboratively with team members and volunteers.


Providing guidance to staff and volunteers, both in-store and on-site, requires leadership skills and physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy items using appropriate tools.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, is essential, while experience in retail merchandising or décor/design is advantageous.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
