    Must be actively pursuing a degree as a Respiratory Therapist as being enrolled in pre-requisites and/or enrolled in an accredited respiratory therapy program.

    Norman Regional Health System's Innovative Technician Program will help you get on the road to the exciting and expanding field of Respiratory Therapy.

    Working in conjunction with a number of accredited schools, we can assist you in becoming a licensed Respiratory Therapist. The technician program allows flexible schedules while you attend school. On the job training immerses the student in the daily operations of a Respiratory Department. With tuition reimbursement and scholarship opportunities, there is no reason to delay.

    Our team of Healers will be with you all the way through, from student to provisional license holder to a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

    Job Summary


    • Technician will be responsible of cleaning and setting up equipment.
    • Keeping inventory stocked
    • Performing EKG's
    • ABI's and being able to transport supplies or equipment to staff.
    • Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
    Qualifications

    Education


    • Actively pursuing a degree in Respiratory Therapy at an accredited Respiratory Program, preferred
    Experience


    • Healthcare experience preferred
    Licensure / Certification


    • Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) training is prior to providing patient care.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
    (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).
