    Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem

    Summit Medical Center

    Edmond, OK


    As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.


    Schedule:
    There is not a regular set schedule for this position, this position will work as needed.

    About the Facility:
    Summit Medical Center provides a wide variety of surgical and ancillary specialties through our extensive network of specialists.

    Surgical specialties include bariatrics, dentistry, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, wound care, respiratory therapy, sleep studies, radiology and full laboratory services.

    Summit Medical Center operates out of two locations in the Oklahoma City metro area.

    Inpatient procedures are performed at the hospital near 15th and Kelly in Edmond, while outpatient procedures are performed at both this location and the outpatient department on Portland Avenue, just north of the intersection of the Kilpatrick Turnpike and Lake Hefner Parkway (74).

    We have a total of 9 operating rooms, 13 patient suites, and 2 ICU beds. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

    About the Pharmacy:

    Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm utilize Meditech for our EMR and Pyxis for automated dispensing machines.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
    • Current Oklahoma Pharmacist license in good standing
    • Recent experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting preferred
    • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
    • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems.

    • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

    Hospital Requirements:
    * (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
    * (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity

    • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
    • Hepatitis B3 Series or declination
    * (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between October 1st-April 31st

    • Respirator FIT Mask Test
    • Covid Vaccination
