Overview:

TelCom Construction is currently hiring a Inventory Management Coordinator. Inventory Management Coordinator is responsible to assist the Inventory Specialist with on-site yard and materials Support. This is a seasonal position starting as soon as possible ending in October.

What will you do?

• All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment
• Assists the Inventory Specialist with staging materials for specific jobs
• Assists the Inventory Specialist with maintaining locations inventory, reconciling physical inventory and offloading/loading trucks
• Tracks, receives and verifies new material shipments and coordinates handling and storage as it arrives
• Maintains organization of inventory
• Maintains a clean and orderly shop and yard area
• Assists with inventory counts
• Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply reasoning ability and understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Knowledge of Internet software, database, spreadsheet and word processing software
• Must maintain a current DOT health card certificate
• Forklift certification
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record required
• Class A drivers license preferred
• Travel may be required

6. Occasionally work in adverse weather conditions
7. Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
8. Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
9. Be in a frequently loud environment.
