- Because we are an accredited chest paincenter, a comprehensive stroke center, and a level two trauma center we seesome of the most complex patients that allow for an incredible learningenvironment for any nurse.
- Under the generaldirection of the Director or Manager, the RN coordinates and provides patientcare and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provisionof nursing care.
- Nursing care is providedin accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state NursingPractice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, ENA Standards of Practice, and thegeneric and unit structure standards.
- The Registered Nurse inthis department provides care for birth to pediatric, pediatric/child patientsbetween 1 to 11 years of age; adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years ofage; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years andolder.
