    Join our team at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh as a Banquet Bartender

    Summary of your role: * Maintains proper set-up of bar service area during each event/shift.

    Inventory and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce, based on projections from the daily functions sheet.

    Responsible for cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes; juices; and other perishables each shift to ensure product quality.

    Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks. Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.

    Maintains cleanliness of bar and guest areas throughout shift.

    Receives cash from guests and makes change as needed

    Must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.

    Should be able to push/pull carts up to 50 pounds.

    Should be able to carry/lift up to 25 pounds.

    Duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.

    RAMP Certification will be required. If person doesnt have before hire, The Hotel will provide within the first 90 days of employment.

    For each position we require at least one positive / verifiable references, a background check, a positive attitude, a willingness to be a team player, and the ability to work weekends. Flexible availability.
