    Job Title: Construction Superintendent

    Location: Tampa, Florida

    Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

    Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Superintendent to join their team in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing commercial construction projects, specifically multifamily buildings and resorts. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • On-Site Management: Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
    • Team Supervision: Lead and supervise on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work meets or exceeds quality standards and complies with all relevant regulations and codes.
    • Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
    • Schedule Management: Maintain and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and any delays are promptly addressed.
    • Resource Coordination: Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, clients, architects, and other stakeholders.
    • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of on-site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction, specifically with multifamily buildings and resorts.
    • Technical Skills: Proficient in construction management software (such as Procore, MS Project, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
    • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations, with a focus on multifamily and resort projects.
    • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide on-site teams.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
    • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
