Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees, including calculating wages, overtime, and deductions
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data
• Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and changes
• Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data in payroll system
• Generate reports on payroll expenses, tax withholdings, and other related information
• Assist with yearend payroll activities, such as W2 preparation

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing
• Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and accounting principles
• Proficiency in using payroll software such as ADP, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, etc.
• Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Understanding of governmental accounting regulations is a plus
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

$ $24.00 per hour
