**Mechanical Engineer**

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, this is an ideal opportunity to step into a challenging role directly impacting the security of our nation. In this position, you will be challenged on an individual level through one or more customer funded programs with the support of your peers and management.

**Your Challenge**

+ Review, analyze, and provide feedback on customer contracts and design proposals

+ Develop customer compliant ordering data to support part procurement

+ Write ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) to revise/create drawings, or to modify component ordering data based on customer requirements and supplier feedback

+ Read and Interpret technical drawings, schematics, reports, and specifications

+ Perform Engineering Analysis for non-conforming material and obtain customer approval

+ Support EPDs Manufacturing Floor: Assembly and Test

+ Write Engineering Test Reports and Procedures for Customer Approval

+ Design New Fixtures and Tools to support the in-house needs of Manufacturing

+ Train and Support Technicians in Manufacturing Procedures to ensure customer specification compliance

+ Other duties as time and initiative for career growth permit

**What You Bring**

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearances

+ Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Preferred) with minimum 2 years experience

+ Experience with Rotating Machinery or Complex Assemblies Preferred

+ Material Processing Knowledge (Machining and Fabrication)

+ Knowledge of Industry Standards (Military, ASTM, SAE, etc)

+ Proficiency with a Solid Modeling Program (SolidWorks Preferred)

+ FEA Experience a Plus

+ Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

+ Self-starter, motivated, and action-oriented individual able to excel in an environment with individual accountability
