    Description

    Manufacturing/Service Engineer

    Mechanical/ Industrial Engineer/Test Engineer

    Job Duties Include:

    • Reads and correctly interprets industry and customer test specifications. Performs the associated tests in accordance with said specifications.
    • Correctly analyzes and interprets test results. Writes accurate and informative test reports. Records all applicable testing conditions and parameters to allow for full traceability of test results.
    • Provides general technical support to Research and Development, Sales, Operations, Product Management, Program Management, Purchasing, Applications Engineering, and Product Engineering teams.
    • Capable of providing support as requested by supervisor.

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline is required. Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering is preferred

    Requirements:

    • Some experience in technical services/laboratory work is preferred
    • Must be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office programs
    • Excellent communication skills required. Must have the ability to interface with all levels of the organization in person, on the phone, and through email
    • Must be capable of handling multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner
    • Familiarity with PC based data acquisition hardware and software is a plus
    • Experience with mechanical test equipment and chemical test equipment is a plus
    • Knowledge of ASTM, SAE, and other test methods is a plus

    Temporary to Hire (4-6 months)

    7am-4pm or 8am-5pm (flexible start time)
