Manager, Continuing Education
With input from the Executive Director, Officers, and Committee Members, this position is responsible for the strategic and tactical growth and management of continuing education and other professional programming while also involved in other operational functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct ongoing development and execution of content strategy for programs in all media as well as all aspects of implementation
- Liaise with speakers, sponsors, and committee members to ensure successful programs
- Oversee all aspects of event and professional development program implementation
- Proactively work with sponsors to grow revenue and continually evaluate areas to improve profitability
- Review existing processes, procedures and overall portfolio management to identify areas of improvement and identify and evaluate opportunities for growth
- Handle audiovisuals for inperson programs and serve as host for online programs on the Zoom platform
- Serve as staff to the Continuing Education Committee as well as a few other committees
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problemsolving.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in program management, preferably in the dental or other health care field
- Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and managing a wide range of events
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with committees, members, and colleagues inside and outside of the organization
- Website content development; experience with Sitefinity a plus
- Expertise in hosting live web events; Zoom platform a plus
- Superior oral and written communications skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Team player; this is a small office so no task is too large or too small
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Pay:
$70, $85,000.00 per year
