Responsibility for the analysis, evaluation, and ensuring the strategic development of IT architectures at the company level in the respective technology and responsibility area


  • Responsibility for the further development and planning of measures and ensuring compliance with guidelines for service, information system, and technology architectures, taking into account information security requirements
  • Participation in the creation of architecture principles, guidelines, reference architectures, IT architecture target images, and the strategic alignment of the IT development plan in the responsibility area
  • Incorporation of company architecture requirements into solution and service architecture and ensuring their application in solution and service development
  • Target group-oriented creation and presentation of complex issues / IT architecture topics for various internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaboration in interdisciplinary and cross-service teams, including leading technical teams if necessary
  • Representation of the BWI IT architecture position with various stakeholders
  • Completed IT-related degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable STEM disciplines, alternatively a completed vocational training with a focus on information technology or comparable
  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in areas such as enterprise or solution architecture, ideally with a focus on IT security
  • Broad, technology-independent IT knowledge, as well as in-depth knowledge in the field of security with a focus on enterprise security solutions, CERT / SOC, and endpoint protection
  • Very good knowledge of architecture management tools (e.g. ARIS, SPARX EA)
