GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB This is a full-time role.

This person will support the basics of both Shipping and Receiving procedures, as well as performing Incoming Inspection to support the Quality Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect parts as they arrive from suppliers.

• Ensure certs match product regarding lot numbers, batch numbers, etc.
• Ensure quantities received match quantities ordered.
• Extra received material and material received for stock entered in inventory and shelved.
• Label shelflife material.
• Scan certs for shelflife material and save in Salesforce.
• Receive parts into our system as they arrive from suppliers.
• Create shipping paperwork within our system, for both standard and hazmat shipments.
• Pull material from inventory and stage to the correct order and documentation.
• Package parts for shipment, for both standard and hazmat shipments.

• Operate/Clean/Maintain Slitting machine.

• Identify proper certifications for Incoming and outgoing material.
• Identify and utilize cost saving methods in all areas such as box reuse.
• Perform tasks as directed by the Operations Supervisor.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory updates.
• Follow and comply with all departmental and organizational procedures and policies

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• One year certificate from college or technical school; 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• This is a position that requires physical exertion, in some cases lifting lbs unassisted, or pushing and pulling several hundred pounds on a cart or with a pallet jack, multiple times daily.
• Ground Hazmat certification preferred, but not initially required.
• Formal forklift certification preferred, but not initially required.
• Moderate to loud noises at times.

Job Types:

Pay:
$60, $65,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
