WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE


The Associate Brand Manager works closely with the Senior Brand Manager in leading the development and implementation of the Bolthouse Farms brand and marketing strategy to deliver annual and multi-year revenue targets.

This is a general management role, responsible for enhancing brand equity in line with the Bolthouse Farms company vision.

This position will sit within the Bolthouse Farms Brand Team and will be remote, with collaboration sessions in Bakersfield, Rancho Cucamonga or LA on an as-needed basis.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The job requirements include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Strategic Thinking: Contribute to developing comprehensive brand strategy, taking into account consumer, category and market trends. Able to take a general management mindset and confidently present strategic, data-driven recommendations to manager and senior leadership.
  • Business Analytics: Able to use syndicated, consumer and customer data to identify business insights and recommend solutions that optimize results. Develop monthly/quarterly business reviews and adhoc analysis.
  • Marketing: Manages the briefing & development of digitalfirst consumer communication plans in collaboration with agencies. Well versed in the social media landscape.
  • Channel/

Customer Marketing:

Understands the business at an account/channel level and collaborates with our retail team to develop custom marketing programs to drive the business in those accounts/channels.


  • Project Manager: Ability to lead large crossfunctional projects with multiple stakeholders, complex inputs, and time sensitive deadlines; effectively manages workload by prioritizing and multitasking. Demonstrates a sense of urgency to drive impact.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of brand management experience in CPG, or 2+ years consulting experience prior to MBA completion
  • A strong analytical mindset and ability to mine data for insights
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and team working skills
  • Previous experience leading and working on crossfunctional teams
  • Comfortable working in a fastpaced, fastchanging environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior business leaders
  • Proven, reliable work history

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • You are an assistant brand manager with experience gained at a CPG company, or are a recent MBA graduate looking for a career in brand management
  • You are highly skilled at being agile and can pivot priorities on a dime


You are a creative problem solver who is an expert at rolling up your sleeves and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You have a growth mindset, not afraid to ask questions and committed to growth and development.

You have a consumer-first approach, grounded in a passion and curiosity for consumer insights.

You are a strong communicator and collaborator who enjoys working with large cross functional teams and agency partners.

You are a natural self-starter, comfortable taking the lead with limited resources while still achieving strong results.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • MBA preferred
  • Consulting background gets bonus points
  • Direct experience in CPG categories is strongly preferred
  • Expert in Excel, PowerPoint, Nielsen, Power BI, SPINS, IRI

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • Must be able to sit for an extended period of time during work

HOURS & WORKDAYS:


  • Monday to Friday, 40hour work week. Some flex may be required during peak work periods.
