    Group Fitness Instructors



    Company: Campus Recreation at The University of Texas at Arlington

    Location: Arlington, TX

    Salary: Hourly rate is commensurate based on qualifications and relevant experience up to $21.00

    Job Summary:


    Group Fitness Instructors plan and design effective, efficient, safe, and comprehensive group exercise classes for a diverse population that target all ages and stages.

    Responsibilities:

    • Proper group fitness class design, exercise knowledge, and coaching
    • Teaching proper exercise form, technique, and cueing
    • Maintaining alignment and monitoring progress
    • Teaching group fitness classes, communication, and social media
    • Record hours worked and offer options for diverse population
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • 1 year of group fitness experience or certification
    • CPR/AED certification
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in related fields of study
    • General fitness knowledge and involvement
    • Teaching virtually and social media skills
    • Communication, time management, and conflict resolution
    • Leadership and customer service
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    CBC Requirement:
    A criminal background check is mandatory for final applicants.
