- Assist with maintaining and implementing EHS programs that ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations.
- Assist with and maintain all required environmental permits including hazardous and universal waste.
- Develop and implement procedures to reduce safety/ environmental risks and to address emergency situations.
- Attend training sessions, meetings, and seminars to maintain proficiency in EHS areas.
- Develop and provide EHS related training programs to ensure employee's knowledge and understanding of environmental regulations and requirements.
- Manage ISO14001 Management System.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety or Environmental Sciences is required.
- 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Proficient report writing, documentation and record keeping.
- Knowledge or training in Hazardous Waste Management. First Aid, ISO 14001, OSHA regulations a huge plus.
