Position:
Experienced Pet Boarding and Daycare Supervisor / Manager

Rate:
$25 per hour or more depending on experience. Must have prior Daycare, Boarding, and Supervisor experience in the pet care industry.

Tailwaggers and Tailwashers have been locally owned and operated since 2003 Our Palm Springs location has top of the line Daycare and boarding facilities, and we?re looking for an experienced Daycare and Boarding Supervisor with a proven track record of leadership, training, and supervision.

We are seeking an experienced Daycare and Boarding Supervisor to lead our team at Tailwaggers Palm Springs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care and services to pets and their families.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations and supervise staff
-
Employee training and performance management
-
Work closely with management to enforce facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance
-
Maintain positive client relationships and address any concerns or issues
-
Assist with playgroup, boarding, and other facility duties as needed
-
Manage inventory supplies and safety requirements
-
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
-
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
-
Lead by example and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service
-
Provide training and development opportunities for staff
-
Handle any system breakdowns or deficiencies and communicate effectively with management
-
Assist with feeding, medicating, and monitoring pets as needed

Qualifications and Experience
-
Multiple years of supervision and leadership experience in a Boarding or Daycare environment
-
Comfort and experience working with pets of all sizes
-
Supervisory and leadership experience
-
Strong organizational and time management skills
-
Basic computer skills, with knowledge of Gingr POS software preferred
