Job Compensation
$75,000-$80,000 per year
Your Impact Here at MBC
- Direct teaching of skills to client and data collection on client responses
- Collect behavior data and implement researchbased interventions to decrease interfering behaviors and teach replacement skills
- Support client participation in larger classroom environment
- Graph and analysis of data collected during sessions to monitor client learning trends
- Maintain and promote generalization of learned skills
- Provide feedback and data regarding mainstream opportunities and parent concerns
- Prepare and organize teaching materials and teaching settings prior to each session
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, other SEIT providers and related service providers to implement studentspecific strategies and protocols
- Engage and use Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) holds/transport or disengagement tactics for students during behavioral episodes. This may mean physically intervening after being trained thoroughly, to help deescalate children when they become a danger to themselves or others.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- NYS Special Education Teacher's Certification required (B2, or 16, or permanent)
- Bilingual English/Hebrew
- Experience with children with Autism or PPD population using the ABA model
- Experience working in a schoolbased or homebased environment preferred
- Must be able to work independently and maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor when working in the home and/or school environment
