Job Compensation
$75,000-$80,000 per year


Your Impact Here at MBC

  • Direct teaching of skills to client and data collection on client responses
  • Collect behavior data and implement researchbased interventions to decrease interfering behaviors and teach replacement skills
  • Support client participation in larger classroom environment
  • Graph and analysis of data collected during sessions to monitor client learning trends
  • Maintain and promote generalization of learned skills
  • Provide feedback and data regarding mainstream opportunities and parent concerns
  • Prepare and organize teaching materials and teaching settings prior to each session
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, other SEIT providers and related service providers to implement studentspecific strategies and protocols
  • Engage and use Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) holds/transport or disengagement tactics for students during behavioral episodes. This may mean physically intervening after being trained thoroughly, to help deescalate children when they become a danger to themselves or others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:


  • NYS Special Education Teacher's Certification required (B2, or 16, or permanent)
  • Bilingual English/Hebrew
  • Experience with children with Autism or PPD population using the ABA model
  • Experience working in a schoolbased or homebased environment preferred
  • Must be able to work independently and maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor when working in the home and/or school environment
