    Electrical/Mechanical Service Technician $20

    Duties include:

    • Learn the trade with working with experienced technicians.
    • Investigate customer's needs, plan required repair, service or needed equipment.
    • Implement action as required.

    Job functions:

    • Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly.
    • Must be able to travel within local area and occasional out of town travel.
    • Must be able to take direction and work well on your own and with others.
    • Must be able to work under the stress of deadline.
    • Must be able to concentrate and perform thorough work.
    • Must be able to react to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
    • Must learn to safely and competently investigate and plan solutions to customers' needs.
    • Must have excellent verbal communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
    • Must be able to solve problems
    • Must have safe work habits
    • Must learn to coordinate with clients
    • Must learn to independently respond to assigned customer service calls, diagnose problems and make appropriate repairs
    • Must be able to comply with all company, OSHA, and customer policies related to safety
    • Must learn to complete all required paperwork (time sheet, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports, purchase orders, and equipment related items.)
    • Must learn to manage vehicle inventory and restock as necessary

    • Handle all issues related to pricing, sales, service, and invoicing with the utmost of integrity

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES RECOMMENDED


    • A strong mechanical aptitude
    • Familiarity with using a PC
    • Layout of equipment and associated equipment
    • Fabrication skills
    • General knowledge of instrumentation and controls
    • Use test devices and tools to adjust, calibrate and repair equipment
    • Ability to follow specific manufacture guidelines for repairs
    • Provide on-site repair, installation and maintenance of compressed air and vacuum equipment
    • Ensure that service commitments are met within standard response time
