Overview:

FAIR-RITE PRODUCTS CORP. - LOCATED IN WALLKILL, NEW YORK

Days and Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize rest rooms throughout the facility
  • Empty trash and garbage containers, including external receptacles
  • Dust, sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum office space and production facility
  • Wash windows and other glass areas
  • Prepare cardboard and paper for recycling; as well as collect and prepare cans/bottles for recycling
  • Assist in cleaning snow and debris from sidewalks and other walkways
  • Assist other maintenance personnel as needed and appropriate
  • Notify management concerning need for repairs
  • Other nonessential duties may be assigned as necessary
  • Follow all relevant Quality and / or Environmental standards to which Fair Rite is certified
  • Follow all O.S.H.A. standards and the F/R Safety and Health Policy

Qualifications:

Minimum Education / Experience Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with a minimum of months on the job training and or experience
  • Previous cleaning / janitorial experience is a plus

Preferred Education / Experience Requirements:


  • Vocational / Technical Education or Technical Training Certificate with a minimum of 3 to 6 months on the job training and or experience related to cleaning /janitorial
