Are you passionate about animal welfare and interested in a part-time role with a non-profit organization? Consider the position of an Animal Caregiver The CCHS is in search of a reliable, enthusiastic, self-starter for an immediate opening as a part-time Animal Caregiver.

A valid Wisconsin Driver's license with a clean record is required and you must be approved through our insurance, as a driver, to be offered a position.

The job involves weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as our animals require care every day of the year.

A retirement plan is available after one year, along with Aflac Benefits immediately. The position may require lifting of 50lbs or more. The ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic setting is crucial.

Duties and qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning cat cages
• Sanitizing dog kennels
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Handling animals with various temperaments
• Performing stray animal pickups and intakes, with potential oncall shifts during evenings/overnights
• Transporting animals to and from veterinary appointments
• Using disinfectants during cleaning processes
• Engaging positively with the public
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
