WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


As a Development Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the comprehensive mechanical integration of equipment sets into military vehicles in Carlsbad.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Realization of customer-specific projects in compliance with internal design guidelines and customer requirements in an interdisciplinary team
  • Creation of design concepts for the integrated equipment sets
  • Independent creation of design documents, documentation, calculations, and productionready single and assembly drawings
  • Support and supervision of internal and external designers in the implementation of subprojects
  • Conducting feasibility studies and technical analyses for new projects
  • Support of team leadership in the creation of work packages
  • Initiation, supervision, and documentation of verification and validation of designs

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering/mechatronics with a focus on vehicle technology, electrical engineering, or comparable qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of design with a focus on sheet metal/bending constructions
  • Knowledge of managing external companies is an advantage
  • Proficient in CAD programs, such as Siemens NX
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Strong team spirit and independent work style
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for business
