Job Description:

The Challenge:

You will balance energyrelated quantities and financial flows in the form of energy balances for electricity and gas.
You will be the central point of contact for accounting issues and questions, and independently assess accounting matters according to HGB and IFRS, especially regarding receivables and liabilities, as well as revenue and material expenses.
You will be responsible for preparing and reconciling financial statements, as well as being the direct contact for auditors and the E.ON SE corporate accounting team.
You will actively drive the digitization of accounting by implementing digital solutions and developing efficient digital processes.
You will work on the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements according to national and international accounting standards (HGB/IFRS).
You will also contribute to and participate in projects and working groups related to accounting and business matters.

Qualifications:

Completed university degree in economics, business administration, business informatics, or a related field.
Experience in data analytics and BI tools, as well as proficiency in MS Office and SAP FI (S/4).
Knowledge of the energy industry is an advantage.
Independent, diligent work style with strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
Openminded and proactive mindset.
Fluent in German (B2) and good English skills (B1).
