- Secure current book of business by maintaining and strengthening established customer relationships.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Provide timely and effective solutions that meet customer needs.
- Three or more years of industrial electronics sales, required
- Strong sales background and a significant technical or industrial customer communications track record required.
- Displays high standards of ethical conduct. Exhibits honesty and integrity.
- Experience drafting and processing a customer request for a proposal (RFP).
- Experience negotiating terms of a master services agreement (MSA).
- Able to travel up to nine weeklong trips.
- Experience in the Wind Energy industry is a big plus.
- Experience in industries with high utilization of circuit boards (e.g., robotics, automation, machine vision).
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in electronics engineering.
- Experience identifying new business opportunities and initiating customer contact, including "cold calling."
