Role Summary:
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and coach the recruiting team to achieve hiring goals.
- Craft accurate and compelling job descriptions that highlight the unique aspects of each technical role.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define position requirements, including technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate technical assessments, coding challenges, and other relevant evaluations.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and trends (e.g. timetohire and costperhire) for continuous improvement
- Present quarterly recruiting dashboard to CARIAD leadership
- Implement new sourcing methods (e.g., social recruiting and Boolean searches)
- Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs, while keeping costs in line with budget
- Review recruiting sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring procedures and continually update to ensure they are effective and efficient
- Research and suggest appropriate job advertising methods
- Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
- Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations and inform recruiters and managers about changes
- Participate in job fairs and career events
- Build the company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners
Years of Relevant Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in the Human Resources field
- 7+ years of recruiting experience
- 5+ years demonstrated experience of leading others
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business, or related field of study or equivalent
Desired Education:
- Master's degree in HR Management, Business, or related field of study or equivalent

- Ability to establish credibility and be decisive in alignment with the organization's recruiting preferences and priorities
- Display patience, professional integrity, and exhibit selfconfidence
- Promote the value of diversity and support the advancement of women and minorities
- Knowledge of US labor legislation (policies, and processes)
- Well versed with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
- Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (like GitHub)
Desired Skills:
- Experience with ADP WFN HCM System
- Knowledge of the Automotive industry
- Familiarity with global labor legislation (policies, and processes
Work Flexibility:
- Must be willing to work additional hours during busy times of month & year
- Travel as business requires
Compensation
Salary range is dependent on factors such as geographical differentials, credentials or certifications, industry-based experience, qualification and training. In the city of Mountain View, California, the salary range for this position is $154,000 - $215,000.CARIAD, Inc. provides performance based merits and annual bonus along with a competitive benefits package.
