The Semel Institute is seeking to hire a Bilingual Limited Part Time Lab Assistant I to work with the Researchers in the H.E.A.R.T (Health Equity and Access Research and Treatment) Laboratory.

Major duties include laboratory research support and task are as follows:

Assist with conducting qualitative interviews in English and Spanish.
Enter and manage research data.
Assist with organizing and storing data.
Assist with other general lab tasks.
Assist with recruitment and enrollment of participants in research study

Pay Range:
$ $22.37 hourly.

Qualifications:

Spanish speaking abilities required.
Ability to coordinate data collection and data entry for research studies.
Ability to interact appropriately and congenially with all staff, faculty, students, patients and the public at all times.
Skill at prioritizing assignments and ability to work concurrently on several projects.
Ability to function effectively with several interruptions.
Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks with mínimal direction.
Skill in maintaining organized filing systems.
Skill in editing reports, correspondence, manuals, etc., for grammar and punctuation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in the strictest sense.
Skill in maintaining accurate timekeeping.
High school diploma required, BA preferred.
