Roles and Responsibilities

Overview:
Breaktime is looking for a passionate, driven, and creative individual. The Manager of Intake & Assessment is a deeply empathetic and charismatic individual who thrives in fast-paced, ever-evolving environments.

In order to serve more young adults, we are looking for someone who is an exceptional, detail-oriented communicator to support Breaktime's recruitment team.


Specific responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct interviews and complete all intake assessments for all scheduled incoming leads to determine program fit
  • Manage and refine the tracking system within Salesforce for all leads from applicant to acceptance
  • Colead cohort close meetings and determine eligible young adults for upcoming starts
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Programs to determine programmatic fit and Government Contracts to ensure fit and eligibility criteria for admission and funding
  • Attend Community Outreach events on and offsite, including but not limited to open house, recruitment events, orientation, class start days
  • Work closely with MYAS to review all applicants
  • Send out approval/ denial letters and provide outside referral resources for denials
  • Organize and track all information relating to recruitment and intake pipeline using Salesforce and other systems, update Salesforce with all lead movement, including acceptances and case notes
  • Manage outreach to determine if previous participants are ready for engagement
  • Support in the development of target goals and project timeline
  • Development of operational systems and structures designed to increase enrollment
  • Create a supportive and goaloriented culture for the CO team
  • Provide reasonable goals, professional development, and evaluation for direct reports

Reports to:
Community Outreach Director


Supervises:
Up to two direct reports

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field with at least one year of experience in a relevant role or at least two years of experience in a related position
  • A deep passion for working directly with and empowering young adults
  • A quick, nimble learner who excels at mastering new skills
  • Excitement for joining a fastpaced team environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organization and presentation skills

  • The ability to selfassess, set priorities, selfcorrect, and ask for help when needed Outstanding organization and leadership skills
- a demonstrated ability to take initiative, stay organized, delegate work, and support team members in meeting responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a small, yet fastpaced, team based on prior managerial experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Suites
- (preferred) Prior non-profit experience
- (preferred) Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Spanish Creole
- (preferred) At least one year of experience working directly with young adults
- (preferred) Familiarity with the Greater Boston area and communities
