POSITION SUMMARY:
The CRM Data Analyst will support establishing standards for data quality, developing data-driven insights, and providing programmatic reporting on constituent data within the Foundation's enterprise CRM.
As part of those responsibilities, the CRM Data Analyst will support CFF's major technology transformation and migration from its legacy CRM to its new, enterprise CRM platform.
These efforts will be crucial to help the Foundation better measure its programmatic impact on the community and those impacted by Cystic Fibrosis.
The CRM Data Analyst will support leadership to analyze and clean data within the legacy CRM to prepare for migration to the new platform and address other data requests required by Fundraising and other relevant teams.
As the Foundation adopts its new enterprise CRM platform, the CRM Data Analyst will, with the support and guidance of leadership, work collaboratively with teams such as Technology Services, Communications and Marketing, Community Partnerships, and Public Policy and Advocacy to ensure that the CRM platform and associated reporting / analytical capabilities meet their needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advance our data strategy by collaborating with other key roles in data analytics across departments such as Community Partnerships, Public Policy and Advocacy, Communications and Technology Services.
Manage data validation / cleansing rules within the legacy CRM instance and support complex data related requests from the Fundraising and other relevant teams (e.g., constituent segmentation).
Define user stories and acceptance criteria and assist Product Owner with prioritization for future platform functionality / enhancements.Outline business processes and/or workflows to support relevant teams leveraging the CRM platform.
Coordinate / Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Coordinate with CRM Administrator to ensure functionality is built and enhancements / bugs are resolved to satisfy business requirements.
Provide proactive data management maintenance such as de-duplication rules, validation rules, and data quality checks.
Assist with new user onboarding and ongoing user training.
Triage user support tickets and maintain solution documentation.
Troubleshoot technical issues and demonstrate ability to drive to successful resolution.
Partner with business teams to elicit complex analytics and reporting requirements, and support / address analytical requests or needs regarding Community data.
Implement dashboards and reports and monitor integrations and connections within the CRM platform or other relevant reporting / analytics tools within the Foundation to present analysis in clear and understandable manner (charts, graphs, interactive dashboards, etc.)Highlight gaps in requirements or conflicts between similar analytics requests, and work with all participants to resolve them.
KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor's in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics or related field (equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree).
Proficient knowledge of structured query language (SQL) development.
Experience creating and presenting data and trends using reports and Dashboards such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
Certifications applicable to database development, CRM platforms, and/or SQL.
Experience in data migrations/conversions.
Experience with Agile project methodology.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects.
In-depth analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
Demonstrated ability to work with and support other departments in the development and support of enterprise applications.
Familiarity with healthcare and HIPPA preferred.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Senior Data Analytics Manager. No direct reports.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Basic office environment, primary functions are computer-based.
Ability to work as part of a team committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
