Case Load: 14-18 kids


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement curriculum aligning with state standards and promoting critical thinking, literacy skills, and historical understanding.
  • Deliver highquality instruction in English language arts and social studies.
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment encouraging student engagement.
  • Develop and administer assessments, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
  • Tailor instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and encourage parental involvement.
  • Participate in or lead extracurricular activities to enrich students' educational experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, English, Social Studies, or a related field.
  • State teaching certification.
  • Experience teaching English language arts and social studies at the middle or high school level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
