Description

This position is for the US office; US candidates are preferred, but qualified Bangladeshi candidates can apply but must work in the USA timezone with the USA team.

Requirements

Understand server, hosting, network, GitLab, JIRA, and other application stacks involved in the Continuous development and continuous integration (CI/CD) workflows

Working with developers, network engineers, security experts, business analysts and testers, understand requirements and workflows for each applications needing CI/CD.

Develop and support containerized applications using Docker, AWS ECS, EKS, and/or Kubernetes cluster.

Develop automated Pipeline for continuous integration and continuous deployment of applications from development environment to higher environments, until the application is deployed to production environment.

Develop fully automated Pipeline for IT infrastructure using Terraform/CloudFormation targeting Amazon AWS cloud hosting utilizing AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, ECR, IAM, Cognito, S3, Fargate, RDS, Dynamodb , route53 , VPC, Application Load balancers and related technologies.

Develop and maintain Gitlab based CI/CD Pipeline for application stack front, back-end and database layers of the application.

Develop fully automated Pipelines for deployment of applications maintained within on prem data centers.

Setup application monitoring mechanism to ensure compliance to service level agreement (SLA) and to proactively troubleshoot, patch and upgrade infrastructure and application layers.

Proactively monitor zero day vulnerability and other cyber security vulnerability bulletins and quickly respond to identified threats and develop short term and long term mitigation steps.

Collaborate with development teams to understand project deliverables and promote SecDevOps culture.
Closely coordinate tasks across development, operations, application security and business teams.
Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures and how to guides for all aspects of the DevOps operations.

Participate on regular team meetings, provide updates and maintain tasks reporting and communications through JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab, Slack, Smartsheet, and other tools.

Mentor other team-members through code-reviews, peer review and hands-on sessions.
Performing other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or higher degrees on Software Engineering/Computer Science or related disciplines.
Experience architecting and implementing infrastructure as code solutions.
Ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies and staying current with technology trends.
3+ year experience in Linux, Windows, and Dockers.
3+ years' operational experience in DevOps and IT Security area.
2+ years experience in Amazon AWS platform.
2+ years experience in developing automations using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Gitlab CI, shell scripting, Ansible, and Python.
Extensive experience with CI/CD automation using Gitlab and/or Jenkins.

Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service, and the ability to interact with all levels of leadership.

Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Solution oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines.
