Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for the instruction and training of individuals in packaging and assembly skills in accordance with regulations.


Essential Functions:


  • Maintains supervision of individuals in workshop.
  • Instructs individual on how to perform work assignments.
  • Distributes to and collects work form individual (i.e. raw goods and finished product).
  • Communicates with counselors regarding individual issues (i.e. behaviors and job performance, etc.).
  • Maintains quality standards.
  • Records work on scan cards for payroll on a daily basis.
  • Meets with Production Director on a daily basis to review production requirements.

Education and Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) to two (2) years experience with the mentally and/or physically challenged population preferred.
  • Valid NYS driver's license preferred.

Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
