The GRN Health Centers Rhein-Neckar gGmbH with headquarters in Schwetzingen is a network of four hospitals with an attached pharmacy, three geriatric rehabilitation clinics, and two senior and two care centers. In total, GRN and its subsidiaries have around 1,600 beds or places and employ over 3,500 staff in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. GRN offers medical and nursing expertise from a single source. The sole shareholder of GRN is the Rhein-Neckar district, with the economic responsibility lying with the GRN management.

The GRN Clinic Schwetzingen, an academic teaching hospital of the University of Heidelberg, is a hospital providing basic and standard care with 277 planned beds, spread across the departments of anesthesia and intensive care medicine, internal medicine I and II, geriatric medicine, general and visceral surgery, orthopedics and trauma surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, and spinal surgery. In addition, there are affiliated departments in the fields of ENT, hand and plastic surgery. Almost 800 babies are born here every year. The clinic is part of the GRN Health Centers Rhein-Neckar gGmbH network, which includes four acute care hospitals with an attached pharmacy, three geriatric rehabilitation clinics, and two senior and two care centers.
