Team Leader and Specialist (m/f/d)

for Childcare Facilities and Youth Services
This is a full-time, permanent position. Part-time arrangements can be considered.

Located in a scenic area, Wiehl is made up of 51 villages spread over an area of over 53 square kilometers.

Its excellent infrastructure and transportation connections make it an attractive, family-friendly city for people of all ages.

With a staff of 270 employees, the city administration sees itself as a modern municipal authority and competent contact for its approximately 26,000 residents, visitors, and businesses.

The city of Wiehl operates four childcare facilities in the districts of Wiehl-Zentrum, Marienhagen, and Weiershagen.

The focus in these facilities is on a child-centered, needs-oriented, participatory, and inclusive approach, which guides the work of the staff.

Additionally, the city of Wiehl is the operator of three youth facilities in the districts of Wiehl-Zentrum, Drabenderhöhe, and Bielstein, as well as a mobile youth service.

The main tasks include:

Supervision and management of staff in the assigned childcare and youth facilities
Coordination of personnel assignments and development
Representation of the city as the operator in dealings with parents, state youth office, and committees
Support and guidance for facility managers and teams in pedagog
