Description

This position is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of the post-closing document review and document management process as well as assisting the closing team with the preparation of accurate loan closing packages.

Tasks include, property title review, gathering closing conditions, managing a closing calendar and clear, concise communication with internal and external customers.


Post-Closing - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct a thorough post-closing review of completed home equity and consumer closing packages returned from branches and customers to ensure all documents were received and executed accurately
  • Work with retail branch partners to correct closing errors and provide documentation
  • Use SharePoint technology to upload closing documents for booking/funding
  • Retrieve and review and upload all original recordable documents from closing packages and monitor reports to ensure a secure line on collateral

Closing - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Created accurate closing packages, disclosures and modifications within regulatory timeframes.
  • Work closely with Retail Branch and other business partners to provide product, workflow, process and technology guidance
  • Perform a detailed review of property title/vesting reports to establish clear collateral ownership and clear property title
  • Schedule home equity closings with customers/branches and update/maintain the home equity shared closing calendar

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, branch staff and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Able to follow complex procedure/process documents
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and must be able to keep pace in a busy, fast paced environment

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 1 year prior loan closing/processing or lending experience
  • Familiarity with Consumer/Home Equity, and/or Mortgage lending products and documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and DocuSign and other lending technologies
