    Overview

    HILGARTWILSON is currently looking for a skilled Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join their team. This company, affiliated with Colliers Engineering & Design, specializes in providing services for a wide range of projects, including master-planned communities, retail, office, educational, healthcare, and public works projects.

    The Water Infrastructure team at HILGARTWILSON primarily focuses on water and wastewater infrastructure projects for various clients in Arizona. They are seeking individuals who are passionate about their work, eager to grow professionally, and willing to contribute to the success of the firm.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepares construction documents for water booster pump stations, water storage facilities, groundwater treatment facilities, sewer pump stations, and more.
    • Prepares planning and engineering documents for land development projects.
    • Conducts hydraulic models and studies for water and wastewater systems.
    • Collaborates with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
    • Offers support during the construction phase and ensures quality control.
    • Provides technical guidance, mentors junior staff, and assists with project management.
    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
    • 2-8 years of relevant experience.
    • Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in AZ or ability to obtain within 12 months.
    • Strong technical skills in water and wastewater projects.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and AutoCAD.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.

      • Desired

      • Experience in water distribution and wastewater facilities design.
      • Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu, Bentley Products, and InfoWater.
      • Understanding of engineering requirements.
