Right at Home West LA located on 14th St in Santa Monica provides non-medical home care in clients' homes. This may include helping them dress, meal preparation, bathing, helping them walk from one area to another, medication reminders, and/or companionship (taking walks together, playing games, gardening). You may drive clients to a doctor's appointment, do errands for them, and do some light housekeeping.

  • Are a
    reliable and a
    _great communicato_r who answers calls and texts quickly
  • Have your
    _Home Care Aide license_, a recent TB test and are CPR certified
  • Are able to
    _work in the West Los Angeles area_ (Santa Monica, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Inglewood, Compton, Gardena, etc.)
  • If you don't have Home Care Aide license you must be willing to get one which will include being able to pass a background check.

What You'll Do and Who You Are:

  • You're the honest, energetic and approachable type, and are able to get along and communicate easily with people at all levels.
  • You don't mind getting a little could include (but is not limited to) providing assistance with eating, personal hygiene, light housekeeping, laundry and other household chores.
  • You don't have to be a gourmet chef but you can prepare a good meal and work your way around a kitchen.
  • You are able to assist the client in many ways—this could include (but is not limited to) providing medication reminders, assisting with prescribed rangeofmotion exercises, dementia care, and companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
