    Description

    About The Company:

    Our client provides full service solutions to some of the worlds largest companies. The company has grown to over 500 employees since its inception in 2016 and will continue its rapid growth for the foreseeable future. Headquartered in Massachusetts, with offices in NYC and operations on the East Coast and Midwest, this company is positioned well and has no plans of slowing down.

    Key Functions of the Senior Accountant Role:

    • Financial statement preparation and variance analysis
    • Fixed asset tracking and recording depreciation
    • Assist with annual budget process
    • Generate and process journal entries
    • Monthly account reconciliations
    • Work with finance team to collect receivables; apply cash receipts and reconcile cash daily
    • Collaborate with accounting personnel to review customer invoices
    • Assist Controller with monthly revenue cutoff and financial reporting
    • Support the AR and AP processes
    • Assist with implementing technology to create efficiencies
    • Support payroll and employee benefits processing, as needed
    • Other ad hoc financial reporting and analysis requests
    Qualifications & Experience Preferred for the Senior Accountant:


    • Substantial previous experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping (5 years +), including billing, receivables, payables, and financial statement preparation

    • Aptitude to learn new systems and technology, oftentimes remotely and with limited training

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel - Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs are a must

    • Must thrive with being managed remotely and communicating via telephone and video conferencing

    • 40-hour work week, with some overtime expected as needed

    • Bachelors Degree or higher in Accounting and/or Finance
