Description
:Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop grant proposals that align with the organization's mission and strategic priorities.
- Coordinate the collection of necessary documentation and information for grant reporting purposes.
- Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, awards, and reporting deadlines.
- Monitor grant budgets and expenditures, working closely with the finance department to ensure proper allocation of funds.
- Take on project management responsibilities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating program activities.
- Develop project plans and timelines, identifying key milestones and deliverables.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress.
- Oversee the execution of grantfunded programs, ensuring that activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Prepare regular progress reports on grantfunded programs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate program outcomes and impact, making recommendations for program improvements and adjustments as needed.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in grant writing, project management, and nonprofit management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, public administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in grant writing, grant management, or program coordination.
- Strong understanding of grant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Highly organized and detailoriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of program evaluation methodologies and tools preferred.
