Overview:


We're looking for an active customer-focused team player with exceptional sales skills to support multiple extended stay hotels in LA and East Texas (Gulf Coast).

You'll be responsible for supporting property General Managers regarding Sales Leads and will report to the VP of Sales and Marketing.


Support includes not only using a General Manager created Sales Lead Tracker (SLT), but also soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking.


Duties:


  • Using the General Manager created Sales Lead Tracker (SLT) to generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, onsite visits and sales tours, and community networking
  • Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities
  • Establish and grow our market share by developing and maintaining relationships with major group and catering clients
  • Supports property General Managers with achieving the hotel's overall sales goals.

Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED, and bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
  • Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry
  • 3 or more years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitality
  • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively
  • Good organization and time management skills

$40, $50,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Evenings as needed
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
