SALARY $63, $101,674.00 Annually


PROBATION:
All persons, including current City employees, selected from this position will be on probation for 6 months.


CLASS DESCRIPTION


An Office Systems Analyst/Programmer Supervisor directs and coordinates the development of systems designs and the preparation of computer programs for microcomputers, servers, networks, or other multi-user office systems.

The work of this class involves supervising office systems analyst/programmer and related personnel.

Incumbents receive mínimal supervision from an administrative superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in an office where working conditions are normal. Work requires mínimal physical exertion.


SELECTION PROCESS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:
Have an associate degree in electronic data processing or computer science from an accredited college or university.


AND

EXPERIENCE:
Have five years of experience in preparing computer programs for microcomputers, servers, networks, or other multi-user office systems.

OR

NOTES (EQUIVALENCIES): Have an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS,
AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of the preparation of systems designs and computer programs for microcomputers, servers, networks, or other multiuser office systems.
  • Ability to direct and coordinate the design and development of data processing systems, for microcomputers, servers, networks, or other multiuser office systems.
  • Ability to collect, organize and analyze data.
  • Ability to design information technology systems for microcomputers, servers, networks, or other multiuser office systems.
  • Ability to direct and coordinate the work of subordinate office systems analyst/programmer and related staff.
  • Ability to write, test, correct and modify computer programs for microcomputers, servers, networks, or other multiuser office systems.
  • Ability to assemble and prepare program and systems documents.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with systems and computer program users.
  • Supervisory ability.
