Job Description:


As the Head (m/f/d) of PTI, you will be responsible for planning, building, operating, and documenting technical facilities for Deutsche Telekom in your region, providing transmission paths and lines in the network, and offering customer-specific network solutions in the Telekom network.

Additionally, you will play a key role in making strategic expansion decisions for fiber optic infrastructure within the local team.


Personnel Management:


  • Selecting and supervising personnel
  • Planning and managing personnel deployment
  • Leading, promoting, and developing employees
  • Conducting performance evaluations and performance review meetings
  • Setting and monitoring technical and deadline requirements
  • Setting and monitoring technical and deadline goals for employees

Technical Tasks:


  • Fulfilling budget planning and responsibility tasks
  • Initiating and implementing measures to improve service and operational quality
  • Regulating workload distribution among team members in case of escalation
  • Ensuring and being responsible for meeting quality standards
  • Coordinating operational measures with involved departments
  • Conducting information exchange with other network operators and telecommunication providers
  • Ensuring implementation of the integrated management system
  • Establishing and maintaining contacts with decisionmakers, opinion leaders, and political interest groups
  • Conducting consulting and coordination meetings with internal and external customers

Profile:


You have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering, Diplom-IngenieurIn for Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable degree.
