    Business Affairs Manager

Whether negotiating contracts, navigating legal complexities, or fostering collaborations across teams, you are dedicated to maximizing the potential of every endeavor, ensuring that innovation and pragmatism go hand in hand.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Collaborating with production, finance, creatives, and business leads to ensure that the legal and business aspects of a creative project are addressed Provide production accurate talent estimates for session fees, usage and holding fees to support production planning and budgeting.
    • Monitoring and owning usage trackers across mediums.
    • Developing and maintaining contract templates tailored to different client and talent needs.
    • Supporting influencer, celebrity talent, music and IP sourcing processes.
    • Handling SAG contracts and waivers, ensuring compliance with union standards.
    • Coordinating Network Trafficking and any script and storyboard approvals.
    • Overseeing Music licensing processes, ensuring appropriate rights and clearances.
    • Implementing insurance best practices to mitigate risks associated with creative projects.
    • Managing purchase orders (POs) and payments related to talent and production expenses.
    • Conducting influencer negotiations to secure partnerships beneficial to projects.
    • Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of media industry dynamics.
    • Identifying and escalating IP, talent, and copyright issues requiring legal intervention.
    • Overseeing SAG and talent payroll, maintaining accurate documentation of usage.
    • Working closely with legal partners to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.

    Our Must-Haves

    • Familiarity with AICP and triple bid guidelines is a plus
    • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively
    • At least 7 years in business affairs administration
    • Located in the NYC area and able to commute to our Brooklyn office 3 times a week

    Salary range: $120,000 - $145,000

    This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office. You must be located within commuting distance of Brooklyn, NY to be considered for this role. You will be required to be in the office 3 days a week. *
