We are seeking a talented and passionate Onsite CFD Engineer specializing in External Aerodynamics to join our dynamic team in Boston, MA.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the aerodynamic performance of our cutting-edge projects, with a focus on automotive and motorsport applications.
Responsibilities:
Conduct CFD simulations and analyses to optimize external aerodynamic performance for automotive and motorsport applications.
Generate high-quality mesh models suitable for aerodynamic simulations.
Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance vehicle performance.
Perform post-processing of CFD results and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to support decision-making processes.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in CFD methodologies and tools, and implement best practices within the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in conducting CFD simulations, with a focus on external aerodynamics.
Proficiency in mesh generation techniques and software (e.g., ANSA
Strong background in post-processing CFD results using tools such as Tecplot, ParaView, or EnSight.
Experience in automotive or motorsport aerodynamics is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of fluid dynamics principles and their application to vehicle aerodynamics.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
