Description

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop proof-of-concept models
• Turn concepts into physical prototypes
• Working with a variety of manufacturing techniques such as machining, 3D printing, injection molding, etc.
• Working with CAD
• Perform basic Analysis
• Recommend appropriate materials and components.
• Track changes in the PDM system.
• Test prototoypes and help Troubleshoot design problems encountered during production.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Good CAD design knowledge (Solidworks preferred)
• Ability to build prototypes in the workshop
• Ability to test and troubleshoot prototypes
• Analytical skills are a benefit (FEA, Thermal, CFD, etc)
