Job Summary:

As a Laundry Attendant, your duties will include operating laundry equipment, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry items efficiently.

Additionally, you will work with customers to assist with any questions and maintain a clean and safe laundry area while adhering to company standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

Operate Laundry Equipment: Utilize industrial washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment effectively and safely.

Sort and Pre-treat Laundry: Separate items based on color, fabric type, and washing instructions. Pre-treat stains as necessary to ensure successful cleaning.

Wash and Dry: Load laundry into machines, add specified detergent and other cleaning agents, and operate wash cycles according to established procedures. Transfer items to dryers and monitor drying times.

Fold: Fold items neatly and efficiently, ensuring they meet quality standards and are ready for use.

Inspect for Quality: Check laundered items for cleanliness, stains, tears, or other defects. Ensure all items meet quality standards before returning them to circulation.

Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling chemicals. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.

Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the laundry area clean and organized, including machines, work surfaces, and storage areas. Dispose of waste properly.

Assist Customers: Provide customer service regarding laundry-related inquiries or requests in a courteous and professional manner.

Collaborate with Team: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of laundry services and overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stamina to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead.

Pay - Additonal piece rate pay on top of hourly rate


Working Conditions:

• Work may be performed in a busy and fastpaced environment.
