    Senior Electrical Project Manager/Estimator
    A rapidly developing engineering and industrial construction business in the Atlanta region is looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager/Estimator for their Peachtree City, GA office.
    The Senior Electrical Project Manager/Estimator will report directly to the Electrical Division Manager and collaborate with the Vice President of Business Development.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Create detailed scope estimates for a wide range of design-build projects using proposal documents.
    • Conduct conceptual estimating using the basic project parameters.
    • Create early execution plans, logistics, and timetables.
    • Gather feedback from field operations to improve final project estimates.
    • Review and approve electrical designs and specifications to verify they meet project needs and industry standards.
    • Create precise cost estimates for all self-performed work, including craft hours, labor, materials, and equipment expenses, using a crew-based approach.
    • Analyze project documents, such as drawings, specifications, and commercial terms, to ensure accurate estimates.
    • Create estimates for project indirect costs such as manpower, project timelines, on-site amenities, and support expenses.
    • Ensure that the firm's estimating processes and procedures are followed consistently.
    • During the design-build process, collaborate with stakeholders such as developers, architects, subcontractors, and client operations, and attend design meetings during the pre-construction phase.
    • Manage the budget and financial components, including managing expenditures, projecting spending, and invoicing.
    • Ensure compliance with building rules, electrical codes, and safety requirements by getting the relevant permits.
    • Oversee the selection and administration of contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
    • Recognize, minimize, and manage project risks and changes.
    • Establish and sustain connections with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
    • Mentor and develop junior project managers and engineers.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Interpret geotechnical reports proficiently and analyze technical data, market trends, and trade dynamics.
    • Proficiency in:
      • Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
      • Adobe Products, including Bluebeam
      • ConEst Intellibid (preferred)
      • Building Connected (preferred)
    • Ensure that projects adhere to client specifications, NEC, and fulfill cost and schedule objectives.Make decisive judgments under time constraints and with little information.
    • Applicants must pass pre-employment examinations: background, MVR, drug tests, and possess a valid driver's license.
    • Showcase commercial acumen, form subcontractor connections, and assess risk.Distribute papers independently.

    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience estimating and managing industrial electrical projects.
