The European Site & Verbund Management continuously develops and ensures the competitiveness of BASF's major European sites. We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operational services, personnel services, and logistics with production at the sites. This ensures the basic supply of the business areas, enabling them to successfully operate in the market. In addition, we provide advice to the plants on all matters related to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety, health protection, and regulatory law.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our department Digital Technical Services & Solutions supports the technical units at the Ludwigshafen site by providing digital services and solutions. Our services include 3D laser scanning, creation of 3D mesh models, digital processing of P&ID diagrams, and integration with the 3D model in the lifecycle of chemical production plants. To combine existing expertise with new insights from science, we are looking for you to join our team for the following tasks:

You familiarize yourself with existing business processes and workflows and develop ways to digitize and simplify them.

In your role as an intern, you independently develop software applications primarily based on low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. MSPower Platform), which you discuss and implement with various units.
