- Assemble components into aerospace or motor devices according to approved manufacturing procedures and acceptable industry standards.
- Assemble prototype devices according to documented engineering work orders.
- Execute all inventory management system protocols for material storage and handling.
- Maintain proper levels of traceability for production builds and engineering tests.
- Operate Commercial Production line within implemented Quality Management System per current Good Manufacturing Practices (ISO9001/AS9100).
- Requires the ability & knowledge required to read blueprints and plan for their associated assembly.
- Able to understand and use calipers, micrometer, plug gauges and other types of specification verification equipment.
- Ability to use hand/motor activated bench type machines to press, stamp, crimp, blast, metal, wire or molded parts in the mechanical assembly process preferred.
Requirements:
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS & PREFERRED Experience
- High school or GED or relevant work experience preferred
- 13 years experience assembling motors
- Ability to read instructions or blueprints
- Strong communication skills
- At least 2 years' experience working in production environment where new products were developed and released preferred
